Mr. Vinod Borse

Associate Thematic Programme at BAIF

Mr. Vinod Borse has been associated with BAIF Development Research Foundation for the past 15 years and is currently pursuing a PhD on insect-based agro-ecosystem services, with a research focus on pollination, natural pest regulation, and biodiversity conservation. He is actively engaged in voluntary scientific initiatives as a Curator with the Moths of India platform (mothsofindia.org) and through which he has documented over 700+ species of moths across diverse Indian agro-ecological landscapes. His research contributions include the presentation of studies on lac insects at a national symposium held at IINRG, Namkum, India, and the publication of research papers on moth diversity and ecology.
